The storm has cleared and we're on for flying to Haiti tomorrow morning!
We should be there by 11am, and we'll plan to work on their orphanage that day, and then move our youth conference to Sunday/Monday. Tuesday we'll have some team time hiking up to the prayer chapel, visit the tourist market briefly, and then fly back to Florida so we can make our Wednesday flight home. There are definitely some adjustments we'll have to make, and the trip will be shorter, but we're thankful we can still go and fit in the main things we wanted to do.
Please be praying for God to continue to clear our way and that we're able to make the most of the time we will have there. Thanks!

We all prayed for the Emily storm to settle down--mission accomplished. Now GO FORTH to AUDACIOUSLY ACCOMPLISH all that is in your hearts to do! Be bold and be strong. Fear nothing. You have the power of God at work in you and through you.

So glad you guys are back on track for Haiti! Praise God for opportunities to minister even when plans go awry. Praying for safety in travels tomorrow and for continued ministry as you travel.

ReplyDeleteGod has had his plain laid out since the inception of this trip!! You are not beginning your journey to Haiti - you are continuing it! Enjoy the steps He has set before you - it has been wonderful to "watch" it unfold up here in MN. We are praying for you all!!
